The breakfast, featuring fresh eggs from the hosts' chickens and homemade preserves, nourished both body and soul after our day of exploring, and engaging conversations with Gordon and Todd made me feel more like a friend than a guest. The attention to detail in our room's handmade furniture and thoughtful touches highlighted the personal care that they infuse into their hospitality, making it a lovely retreat just minutes from both Castlegar and Trail.
